MONTHLY MEETING MINUTES
Present at meeting: Rick Walker, Chuck Brazell, Steve Lowe, John Springer, and Lynn Easley.
Call to order by Rick Walker.
Present Minutes from last meeting
The minutes were presented by Lynn Easley.

Financial Report
Receipts:
Receipts through June 9th, 2021 were $1,900.00, which are current year dues from nineteen members.
Disbursements:
Disbursements for 2021 through June 9th were $713.80 for operations and $212.92 for capital as follows:
Operations:
$400.00 Storage Locker
$202.06 Social Cheeseburger in Paradise Dock and Hot Dog dock parties.
$100.00 Barge slip rental.
$11.74 Trophy Engraving.
Capital:
$136.08 Pontoon boat repairs.
$76.84 Mast Hoist (Penetrating oil, Duct tape, Drill bits).
For operations we have a cash surplus of $1,186.20.
General Comments:
The cash balance as of June 9th, 2021 is $17,087.32. The cash balance at this time last year was $15,779.61 and at year end was $16,114.04.
Treasures report accepted by Steve Lowe, seconded by Chuck Brazell.
Officer and Director Reports.
Rick Walker – Did talk to two ex-members that said they would rejoin the club.
Chuck Brazell – Remarked that he thought the Dogs on the Dock party went well. The lunch time event worked out well and people could come and go during that time.
Steve Lowe – Had a good turnout for the first 3rd Friday Social event.
Old Business
Slip Waiting List:
Ashley Tackett.
Mast Hoist:
One more attempt will be made with a chain wrench to break it free to swivel. It is hoped a better angle, and pounding on the crane with a hammer might help. That failing, one ex-member of the club does welding, and might get his input on possible solutions.
Ex-Members and New Members:
It was suggested to send an personal invite to an ex-member for the next Third Friday Event, in the hope that they would still feel welcomed to attend it.
Rick Walker talked to a prospective new member that is currently boat less that is interested in joining.
New Business
Seminar Event:
No update, but with two members working on arranging an weather seminar, hopefully the club can get something setup.
Christmas Party and Annual Meeting:
The Christmas Party venue has been confirmed for Eagles Bluff on December 11th. Will still have to decide on a menu.
Rick Walker will check with scheduling the Annual Meeting at Emerald Bay’s community center. That event is scheduled for the 3rd Saturday in January.
Alternative Locations for Third Friday and Monthly Meetings:
It was proposed to select a different location for either/or both the 3rd Fridays Social and the monthly meetings. For now, the club will keep the previously agreed locations to keep things simple. The club will consider alternative locations depending on circumstances in the future though.
Date and Time of Next Meeting:
The next monthly meeting is currently scheduled for July 14th at noon at Texas Music City.
